Aliy Zirkle to Address the Summer Conference

On our last 'official class day' of the conference, June 29, at the Grand View Inn Conference Center, Aily Zirkle will be a special guest speaker. Aily is an Iditarod Musher and the 200o Yukon Champion--- the FIRST WOMAN TO WIN THIS RACE!

To learn more about Aily, visit her website at:

Her "Iditarod Bio" can be found in the 2007 Musher Listings at www.iditarod.com or at: http://www.iditarod.com/2007/musherprofiles/musherbio_115.html

I took the above image of Aliy at the start of the 2006 Iditarod. It is one of my favorite pictures. If you are an Iditarod Insider subscriber, you might want to review the video clip from the 2006 archived videos--- Buffalo Things. It is a fun clip!

I know we will all enjoy this presentation!

Diane
