Hello from beautiful Nome, Alaska


Hello My Friends,

For those of you visiting Alaska for the first time Welcome on behalf of Nome Public Schools and our students!

I cannot wait to get to the Summer Conference and meet each one of you. It is a sunny 45F this morning and going up.

I have some ideas to share and will enjoy hearing what is done at your schools.

It is 66 degrees in South Dakota and strong thunderstorms are predicted today.

Today it was only 90 in Phoenix; it's a good break from 108 two days ago! Looking forward to meeting you and working with you!

I'm so glad you will be at the conference - it will be great to get the real insider's perspective on Alaska! I'm so interested in learning about the culture of the native Alaskans, so I'm sure I'll be asking lots of questions.
